Senor de Los Milagros, more commonly called Lord of Miracles is an image of Jesus Christ originally painted on an adobe wall, placed behind the High Altar of the Las Nazarenas sanctuary in Lima, Peru. Its feast is the main Catholic celebration in Peru and one of the biggest processions in the world every year, in October. The devotees dress in purple habits therefore, the month of October is considered the purple month.
